AhlulBayt News Agency: A former member of the Europe-backed MKO group has revealed that the leader of the organization, Masoud Rajavi, worked for the Intelligence Service of the Shah’s regime in Iran.
This trial is considered highly significant due to the serious charges against members of the terrorist organization and its impact on Iran’s national and social security. Additionally, the session serves as a warning to countries hosting such groups, urging them to refrain from supporting terrorism.
The 34th session of the trial for 104 members of the Mojahedin Organization (MKO) was held today, June 6, in Branch 11 of the Criminal Court of Tehran Province, at the Imam Khomeini Judicial Complex. The MKO has been responsible for the assassination of over 17,000 people in Iran and is currently hosted by European countries.
During the court session, Judge Amirreza Dehghani reviewed international laws regarding the extradition of suspects. He emphasized the necessity of cooperation from European nations, particularly Germany, France, and Britain, calling for the extradition of individuals involved in MKO terrorist crimes.
Iraj Salehi, a witness, stated that Maryam and Masoud Rajavi held ultimate authority over operational plans, with all strategies requiring their approval. He explained that Rajavi had issued directives to target prominent individuals within the system, leading to widespread attacks in cities such as Tabriz, Mashhad, and Tehran—sometimes based on identifying individuals who possessed images of Imam Khomeini.
Judge Dehghani stressed that terrorist crimes, including bombings, should be classified as non-political offenses, meaning host countries are obligated to extradite the suspects. He warned European nations about the risks of hosting these individuals, as it could lead to legal consequences.
